Herbal Tea Ceremonies are a delightful way to find beauty in our everyday.  The purpose of my Tea Ceremonies are to bring Harmony, Respect, Purity, and Tranquility back into your life for a short while.  Combined with guided meditation it is aimed to bring inner peace by allowing you to take a break from the outside world and focus on the simple moment of drinking tea.

By slowing down, we can simultaneously open up to heartfelt connection with ourselves and/or others. Making the time and space for yourself is a low-impact, simple act of pleasure that can lift the vibe of any day! Tea can be a vehicle of focus for returning to our center and invoking peace and calm.

In an herbal tea ceremony, we hold space for one another and ourselves to feel the subtle rising of energies that accompany whatever plant is being drunk.

What to expect:

Once everyone has gathered, we begin by taking a few moments of silence. We will start by “Opening the Circle”.  We call on our Angels, Ancestors, Sacred Ones, and Spirit Guides and offer this time for reflection.

I invite those in attendance to open their hearts and practice deep listening to each other and to what they may be feeling. This is the time to set your intentions over your tea. We will consume our tea.  Guided Meditation will begin.

Bring your favorite mug or cup, a mat, cushion, or blanket as we will be on the floor.

“I drink the tea, the essence of the leaves becoming a part of me.
I am informed by the tea, changed.
This is the act of life, in one pure moment, and in this act
The truth of the world suddenly becomes revealed:
All the complexity, pain, and drama of life is a pretense,
invented in our minds for no good purpose.

There is only the tea and me, converging.”

Passionflower!

Like many medicinal herbs, indigenous cultures have long recognized passionflower’s ability to calm the mind and soothe the spirit.

The Passiflora incarnata species, commonly known as Maypop, was highly revered among Native American tribes such as the Cherokee and Powhatan.

As in so many cases, Western science finally caught up to the indigenous wisdom on Passionflower’s climbing properties. Today, there are a plethora of studies on using P. incarnata to aid in anxiety management. Around the world, Passionflower treats insomnia, anxiety, and depression.

Milk thistle has a rich history dating back thousands of years. It was traditionally used by ancient civilizations, including the Greeks and Romans, who regarded it as a valuable medicinal herb.

You’ve probably heard the term “leaky gut” more than you can count on all fingers and all toes, but what is it really? And the bigger question is, what can you do about it?

Even if you’re familiar with the term leaky gut, you may not know just how common this debilitating condition is. In fact, many experts in their field say leaky gut is the root cause of numerous chronic health conditions, including hormonal imbalances, joint pain, autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, diabetes, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, and eczema, to name just a few.

Here’s why: When the lining of your gut is doing its job, it absorbs nutrients and keeps large particles out of the bloodstream.

However, because of the overload of unhealthy ingredients in the standard Western diet, toxins in our environment, stress, and overly stressed immune systems, the lining of our intestinal tracts can break apart and allow toxins, microbes, and undigested food particles to get into our bloodstream. Simultaneously, this creates an immune response followed by inflammation and malabsorption of nutrients. For some, this turns into auto-immunity.
What are some of the symptoms of a Leaky gut ?

Gas, bloating, diarrhea, or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
• Food sensitivities or allergies
• Brain fog, difficulty concentrating, ADD or ADHD
• Depression and anxiety
• Acne, rosacea, or eczema
• Asthma
• Irregular periods, PMS, or PCOS
• Diagnosis of chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia
• Rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s, lupus, psoriasis, celiac disease, or any other autoimmune condition
